Qualifications:

Mr. Gwaltney has extensive experience working in and around the construction, development, and consulting engineering industries. His expertise and experience also extends into the areas of civil infrastructure design, including vertical roadway design, municipal sewer and water system design, and drainage and stormwater management design.  Mr. Gwaltney’s previous experience working for a contractor/developer gave him firsthand knowledge of buildable design from conceptual and preliminary design, to final design, to construction management, and development management. 

 
Throughout his career, Mr. Gwaltney was fortunate to be able to work on projects such as Kingsmill, Fords Colony, Greensprings Plantation, Governors Land and Stonehouse developments.  Having the experience of working on such high profile projects set the bar and instilled in him the design concepts which make a project great.


In addition to engineering, Mr. Gwaltney is an accomplished Land Planner.  His experience and vision allow him to produce technically sound and efficient concepts which are able to transition smoothly into the final design phase. In addition to concept planning and feasibility research studies, Mr. Gwaltney’s experience with large-scale residential projects has provided him with the knowledge and experience to design medium to large-scale sewer, water and transportation infrastructure projects.
